Accessibility Statement

Julia Correia Studio wants juliacorreia.com to work for as many people as possible, including visitors who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, enlarge text, or rely on voice control. This page explains where the site stands today and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our Goal

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most commonly used to measure web accessibility. We are not claiming full conformance today. The site meets many of those requirements and we are working through the rest as part of ongoing maintenance.

What Is in Place Today

• Descriptive alternative text on project photography and other meaningful images
• One clear page heading per page, with sections in a logical heading order
• Descriptive page titles and link text, so links make sense out of context
• Text that can be enlarged in the browser without content being lost or overlapping
• Navigation and links that can be reached with a keyboard
• The page language is set, so screen readers pronounce the content correctly

Known Limitations

We would rather name these than pretend they are not there. We are working on all of them.

• We have not finished auditing color contrast across every text and background combination.
• Some content we link to, including press coverage and social media, is published by others and is outside our control.

Getting the Information Another Way

If a page is in your way, we will get you the information another way. We are happy to walk you through project details by phone, send the content by email in plain text, or answer questions directly. Nothing on this site is only available in one format.

How We Maintain This Statement
